She has on some magenta shorts which is covered up by the grass skirt. She wears a lime green dress with flowers on the front and back of the torso. Hula Lula is one of the attendees at the Ceremonial Ceremony and is one of the singers at the event. Her accessory is one of her cats named Scarfield who has a mohawk. She only has a single-sided head with an angry expression. Her arms has some printing of armbands on both sides. As a result, she has now more fierce with her wearing a leather outfit with a feline printed on front of the torso. The events of the end of the first movie and the beginning of the second has changed everyone including Mrs. Her accessory is a printed 2×2 tile of a drawn minifigure head. She has a double-sided head with a smile on one side and hardy laugh on the other. The large crayon piece that goes over her has some flowers printed around the top and bottom. The torso is plain lavender colored while the legs are dual-molded with darker purple boots. The second costumed character in this series is the Crayon Girl who is dressed up as a purple crayon. His accessory is one of the newer leaf pieces. He has a double-sided head with a smirk on one side and a wide smile on the other. I believe he is the tallest CMF to be made and he looks spot on as a giraffe with the orange spot throughout. Not surprisingly, this is my favorite minifigure as soon as images of the set became available due to me being a former TRU employee. It may not be their reason why he was included but I dig it. I can’t help but feel that the Giraffe Guy is LEGO’s way to pay homage to Toys R Us’ Geoffrey the Giraffe. His accessory is a red tool box that has the Classic Space logo as well. His double-sided head shows him with a happy smile on one side and an angry expression on the other. Like before, he does have the faded Classic Space logo on the front of the torso. Her accessory is a pair of binoculars.īenny looks similar to he other variants except that his right arm is more robotic now. The brown hood also has the goggles molded on to it. She has a double-sided head with a smile on one side and an angry look on the other. She does have a black quiver but interestingly, she is missing a bow to use the arrows. Her legs show her with some dark-brown pants with black boots. Lucy is seen wearing her usual black hoodie with the pink and blue highlights on the front and back of the torso. His accessories include a printed 1×2 tile of his cell phone and an unprinted coffee cup. His hairpiece comes with a pair of headphones molded on to it. I guess they just opened a box and put everything in and shipped it my way.īefore we jump into the character reviews, I will note that each minifigure comes with a white stand.Įmmet is similar to his other variants except that this version of him has a wide smile and a closed eye smile. I can not confirm with my box since LEGO didn’t send the minifigures in a sealed box like they used to but dumped everything into a shipping box however I can confirm that I did get three complete sets. That doesn’t mean each row is guaranteed a set so you’ll have to loosely feel to see. In a bigger surprise, most boxes will have a complete set of 20 per row which I’ve reported before. I’m not sure why LEGO decided these characters had to be double bagged but they are.Īs confirmed with numerous other reports, the the majority of the minifigure distribution comes in at three complete sets per unopened box. In addition, there are a few characters that are double bagged and they include Crayon Girl, Hula Lula, The Swamp Creature, Kitty Pop, Dorothy Gale and Toto, and Cowardly Lion. Although we were afraid the minifigures were going to be harder to feel for, the materials of the packets made it a bit easier to feel through. The packs themselves are a bit taller and wider than previous ones and they are similar in size to the Unikitty series. Like with previous Collectible Minifigures series, each box contains 60 packets and if you’ve been collecting for a while, you may notice there are some changes to this series. They are currently widely available at major retailers around the world. There are a total of 20 minifigures to collect in this wave and each character has a tie-in to the movie. I’m a bit late to the game but I’ve finally got my review set for The LEGO Movie 2 Collectible Minifigures (71023) to check out.
